Get the Look Makeup Edition: Covergirl Queen Collection Eyeshadow in Raisin & NYX Aphrodite

Covergirl Queen Collection Eyeshadow in Raisin


While browsing the makeup section in Walmart,
I saw this pretty shade of purple from the Covergirl Queen Collection. Since it was under three bucks, (and I'm kinda addicted to various shades of purple makeup)
I decided to give it a try.

Before applying eyeshadow, make sure to prep your lids with a eyeshadow primer or base.
I prepped my lids with e.l.f. Jumbo Eye Shadow Stick in Rock Out
a metallic gray that helps powder eyeshadow to adhere better
 as well as make the color appear more rich and vivid.
I prepped the transition and brow bone area with 






I also gave a subtle purple hue to my favorite pink blush 
by using "Raisin" as a base for layering.
