Makeup Look of the Day: BH Cosmetics Wild at Heart Palette

  When I first tried out the Wild at Heart Baked Eyeshadow Palette  I was disappointed. Dry application made the eyeshadows look powdery and dull on my lids.  I decided to try swatching the pigments with a wet brush the second time around, and that made all the difference!  The eyeshadow became amazingly vivid, dimensional, and absolutely gorgeous.  Check out the look I created with the Wild at Heart Palette along with (wet) swatches of each color.

The pale pink in the first row was very difficult to swatch, even when wet. It was dry, clumpy, and difficult to spread.  When dry it left behind chalky glitter.  All of the other colors were easy to spread, and very pigmented when wet; especially the darker colors.

Lip Gloss: NYX Butter Gloss in Devil's Food Cake

I used MAC Beauty Marked to add depth to the outer lid, outer lash line, and outer crease. 

For a dewy glow, I mixed a few drops of Nars Orgasm Illuminator into my foundation.
