Enhancing Your Natural Beauty

We’re all beautiful in our own way. Sure we all have some quirky little feature, or pesky little problem that we might obsess over, but it's those quirks that gives us our unique natural beauty. It never hurts to enhance, so here are a few quick tips that you can try to upkeep and maintain your natural beauty.
Exfoliate

Even if your skin is naturally beautiful, it is a very good idea to exfoliate on at least a semi-regular basis of 2-3 times a week. Why? Because dead skin builds up and it can cause your usually clear and fresh complexion to look dull, dry and flaky. Exfoliating only takes a few seconds, but it can make a huge difference to how young and vital you look. Try using a konjac sponge for gentle exfoliation, or add a little baking soda to your facial cleanser for a stronger exfoliate.

Use Natural Makeup

If your skin is especially sensitive research natural makeup options that are gentle on your skin.

Stop Drinking and Smoking

If you indulge in drinking, smoking, or both, then giving them up will do wonders for your natural appearance. If you aren't quite ready to give them up, then work on cutting down. Both drinking and smoking will cause your skin to age prematurely. We've all seen those people we went to school with who now look years older because they over-indulged in one or both of these vices.

Use a Little Concealer

No matter how naturally great we look, there are always going to be times when zits and blemishes come along to annoy us. You could consider a shade of concealer that matches the color of your skin, but you can also use a complementary color to hide unsightly discoloration. To hide redness, use green concealer, and to hide dark spots with a bluish undertone use orange concealer. Experiment to find what works best to conceal flaws and so the focus remains on your natural beauty.

Pluck Your Brows

It’s amazing how much difference removing a few excess strands of hair from your eyebrows can enhance your appearance. Brows that are shaped, groomed, and not too thin, will open up your eyes and make you look younger and fresher in an instant, so whether you prefer threading, tweezing, or waxing, get on it. Exercise

Exercise, even if it’s only a brisk walk around the block each day, will boost your circulation and give you a natural glow. It’ll also help you to keep your weight at a good level and help you to stay healthy too.
