How to Wear a Shirt Dress: Prabal Gurung for Target Shirt Dress inNolita Print

Look, there's the lace overlay top I want right there on the end!!!
Last Sunday I rushed to Target after church hoping to purchase my favorite piece from the Prabal Gurung for Target Collection: the Lace Overlay Top I had seen in the Look Book weeks before. When I woke up that morning, it was already sold out online and I was doubtful that anything would be available by the time I made it to my local Target.   I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Target to see there was still a large selection but disappointed to see that some of the pieces looked a bit cheap in person while some of the dresses looked more appropriate for the junior section. After sorting through the racks I grabbed a few of my favorite pieces and headed to the dressing room.

After trying on several pieces I narrowed it down to the lace overlay top, the sleeveless blouse in first date print, and the shirtdress in nolita print

Even though I initially went to Target to get the lace overlay top, I decided to go with the shirt dress in nolita print because it felt like the most versatile of all the pieces. I hadn't given much attention to it when viewing the Look Book, but after trying it on I liked the colorful print and could picture myself styling it in a number of different ways.  Here are some ideas on ways to wear a shirt dress using the Prabal Gurung shirt dress as inspiration.

  1. THANK YOU! I have been back and forth on whether I should get this shirt because I didn't know how much I could really do with it styling wise, but you've given me new hope haha
